About Well Mornings
Simple, healthy morning habits.
Well Mornings is a small independent publication about the first hour of the day. The idea behind it is straightforward. Most people do not need a complicated wellness system. They need four or five simple habits that are well supported, easy to start, and able to survive a busy week.
So that is what we write about: drinking some water before coffee, getting daylight early, a short walk, a breakfast with some protein in it, sensible caffeine timing, and going to bed and waking up at roughly the same hour. None of it is new. All of it is useful. Most of it gets buried under louder advice that sells better.
How we write
Three rules shape every article here.
- Say what the habit does not do. A glass of water in the morning does not detox anything and will not change your metabolism. Saying so costs us nothing and tells you whether to trust the rest of the article.
- Prefer the boring version. Where the research is mixed, we say it is mixed. Where the effect is small, we call it small. Honest and modest beats confident and wrong.
- Make it doable. Every article ends with how to actually keep the habit on a normal week, including the version you do when you are running late.
Who writes it
Articles are written and edited by the Well Mornings editorial team. We are writers and researchers, not clinicians, and we do not present ourselves as medical professionals or use clinical titles. When a topic needs clinical judgment, we say so and point you to the person managing your care rather than guessing. See our editorial policy and disclaimer for the full detail.
What we do not do
No weight loss promises. No before and after photos. No invented experts, no fake credentials, and no testimonials we did not receive. No fear based health claims to sell something. If we ever add advertising or affiliate links, it will be disclosed clearly on the page.
